The Russian-American Cultural Center is pleased to announce the opening of its new exhibition "TRINODIS: Faces of the World". This exciting and unique multi-media project incorporates an interactive art process from three different viewpoints: the photographer's, the painter's and that of the participating object - the interviewee.

For the past 12 months two artists - photographer Marin E. Wenger, born in Switzerland and living and working there, and painter Christo Dagorov, born in Bulgaria and also living and working in Switzerland - have been collaborating on an artistic journey visiting four countries in three continents, exploring human aspects in different cultural and social environments captured in a single image. The artists present to the viewer close-up portraits of people randomly chosen, who share their social status and personal wish to the world, now and today. The interweaving elements form TRINODIS - the three-knot motto. The multiple knots re-occurring and weaving through the exhibition ultimately lead to the unifying theme: humanity. The Faces of the World are all humans, just like the artists presenting them and the public looking at them are.

This exhibition is part of the international series of the RACC's annual program "Global Projects", which embodies the Center's mission to foster the international creative spirit through cross-cultural and interdisciplinary endeavors.
